JANUARY 2012 Rental and Staging Network Helps Make Wishes Come True

Association Makes In-kind and Monetary Donations Totaling $646,413 in 2011

The Rental and Staging Network (RSN), a network of geographically-diverse rental and staging companies with complete event capabilities, showed their commitment to charitable giving through in-kind and monetary donations totaling $646,413 in 2011.

RSN polled its members at the beginning of the year to see which charities have benefited the most from member pro bono audio/visual and staging services. It was determined that the Make-A-Wish Foundation was the greatest benefactor, with $111,000 of in-kind donations from a variety of members across the country. The association then contributed an additional monetary donation, as their collective way of ensuring even more wishes come true for children with incurable diseases.

“It’s very rewarding and fulfilling for our member companies be able to help Make-A-Wish, and a variety of other charities across the country, just by doing what they do best – providing complete event capabilities,” said Donald Guzauckas, Jr., president of RSN. “As an organization, we are committed to supporting our members’ efforts with an additional monetary donation.”

Since its inception in 2007, RSN has aimed to bring the industry’s best live event rental and staging companies together. This allows members to provide nationwide service with the benefit of local contacts, eliminating the need for clients to spend valuable time verifying the competence and capabilities of multiple companies. Additionally, RSN is a non-competitive forum for establishing best practices, enhancing professionalism and engaging in business referrals and cross-rental opportunities.

APRIL 2011 Rental and Staging Network Continues on Growth Track

Broader Resources Now Available to Fulfill Audio/Visual and Staging Needs Throughout North America

The Rental and Staging Network (RSN), a network of geographically-diverse rental and staging companies with complete event capabilities, announced the addition of two new companies to the organization: ProStage Event Technology, representing Orlando, Florida and Las Vegas, Nevada, and Stage Right, Inc., representing Chicago, Illinois.

This brings the total membership of RSN to 16 live event staging companies located throughout North America, helping to further achieve the organization’s mission of providing members collaborative business opportunities, a forum to define best practices and support for their commitment to excellence.

“These two companies exemplify what RSN is all about and have excelled at what they do for decades,” said Matt Emerson, Executive Vice President/Director of Rental and Staging at CEAVCO and President of RSN. “By increasing our membership, we continue to expand our network’s reach and increase our ability to provide expert, personalized service on a nationwide scale.”

This brings the total membership of RSN to 14 rental and staging companies located throughout North America, helping to further achieve the organization’s goal of becoming a “go-to” source of personalized audio/visual services joined by a common set of principals, high ethical standards and superior performance.

JULY, 2009 Rental and Staging Network Adds massAV as Newest Member

The Rental and Staging Network announced that massAV, a leading rental and staging company based in the Boston metro area, has joined the Network. This brings the total membership of RSN to eleven rental and staging companies located throughout North America.

OCTOBER 31, 2008 Rental and Staging Network Expands With New Members

The Rental and Staging Network announced that five companies have been accepted as members and stockholders of the network. The new members include; Michael Andrews Audio Visual Services, Videocam, Duocom Canada, Showcore, and Data Display Audio Visual Company. This brings the total membership of RSN to ten rental and staging companies located throughout North America.

According to Matt Emerson, President of RSN, “Our goal was to find 10-15 companies in the first year that fit the RSN profile. The Board is very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the new members and will continue to look for the best qualified rental and staging companies in the industry to join the network.”

OCTOBER 29, 2008 Rental and Staging Network Elects Officers

The Rental and Staging Network announced that Matt Emerson, Vice President of CEAVCO Audio-Visual in Denver, Colorado, has been elected to serve as the first President of the Rental and Staging Network for 2008-2009. Emerson was instrumental in the formulation of the network in 2007 and will provide guidance and direction during the first year.

Other officers elected include Jeff Studley, CPR Multi Media as Chairman; Bob Leon, Colortone Staging and Rentals as Vice-President; Don Guzauckas, HB Group, Inc. as Treasurer; and Kevin Jarrell, Production Service Group as Secretary.

JULY 9, 2008 Companies Form Rental and Staging Network, Inc.

Five leading AV rental and staging companies have formed a new alliance of geographically-diverse rental and staging companies each well respected by peers with complete show capabilities and a minimum revenue level in the business. Each independently-owned and operated company is a stockholder in Rental and Staging Network, Inc.

In the formulating stage for the past six months, Rental and Staging Network, Inc. is the brainchild of Matt Emerson, Executive Vice President of CEAVCO Audio-Visual in Denver, Colorado. In addition to Mr. Emerson, the four other founding members include Bob Leon, Colortone Staging & Rentals; Jeff Studley, CPR Multi Media Solutions; Don Guzauckas, HB Group Inc.; Kevin Jarrell, Production Service Group.

“This network will provide the conduit for rental and staging companies to come together to improve their business operations and profitability. I believe that greater success comes from leveraging relationships and ideas”, says Mr. Emerson. Apparently others agree with additional applications being received by the Board for consideration to become stakeholders in the new corporation.
